JROTC Cadet Recognition

The
Sons of the American Revolution awards the JROTC Medal to foster the principle
of the "citizen-soldier" exemplified by the Minutemen of Revolutionary War days.
This award is presented by the Marshes of Glynn Chapter to JROTC cadets, who
are selected for having a high degree of merit with respect to leadership
qualities, military bearing and general excellence. The
recipients are selected by the Commanding Officer of the JROTC unit at three
Coastal Georgia high schools, Brunswick High, Camden High and Glynn Academy.
Colonel Jack E. McDonald, U.S. Army (Ret) is the Compatriot who directs the
program for the Marshes of Glynn Chapter.

Brunswick High School—Navy JROTC, Lt. Cmdr Spenser & Lt Foster; Cadet Dwayne Butler, Battalion Commander, Senior, Presentation May 6 at 7:00 pm Camden High School—Navy NROTC, Capt Holland, Cadet Jayson Coyle, Senior, Presentation May 15 at 10:00 am.
